Imagination is the power to gather roses in winter. ~ Anonymous
Lame name. XD Don't care. I'm so happy with this photograph. The scanner, however, killed it. This doesn't make me any less happy, though.
On to the explaination. That journal is empty. It's made of leather with flowers pressed into the pages. I forget what kind. The pages are wrinkled-like as the paper was in the more medieval times. I took the picture of my journal on a bench in front of my house.
The second photograph was part of a series of pictures that took up most my negatives. I went on a high of taking pictures of fire from both candles, fireplace (w/ wood, not oil), and the flaming wooden kabob stick my brother was burning.
I combined to pictures, hoping it would look like fire coming out of the book. Instead, the fire looks like magic! It amazed me even more when the fire at the top came out looking like a fairy!
This photograph works from any angle. This is my favorite angle, hence why I posted it this way. XD

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
